Description of the position

Johnny Vac is a family business founded in 1982 located in Montreal East 8581 Place Marien, Montreal). We have over 8000 products available for our dealers and the general public. Vacuum cleaners, filters, bags, accessories, cleaning products and vacuum parts, as well as a wide range of sanitation equipment. We are a dynamic company with over 1200 dealers across North America, and we ship our products throughout Canada and the United States.

Johnny Vac is currently looking for a fully bilingual receptionist to fill a permanent position in our Montreal East office.

Main responsibilities

This position consists of:

Answer calls and direct them to the appropriate people;

Greet visitors;

Verify and scan purchase orders;

Make daily deposits in our Acomba system;

Warranty registration;

Compilation of internet orders;

Other related duties.

Required Knowledge

Proficiency in the Office suite (particularly Excel and Outlook);

Experience working with accounting software such as Acomba (an asset).

What is the work schedule?

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. You will not be required to work overtime, nights or weekends.

You will have one hour for lunch and two 15-minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Is it easily accessible by public transportation?

Yes, our office is easily accessible by public transportation. There are several bus stops nearby.
