Johnny Vac is currently looking for a Web Developper to fill a permanent position with the possibility of hybrid work (home/office).
Reporting to the President and CEO, the Web Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our websites. The candidate will also be responsible for the management of our servers. In addition, the candidate must be able to make recommendations for relevant and realistic technical improvements to our websites and servers.
Principal responsibilities
- Be responsible for the development of the website and software, writing maintainable and reusable code
- Manage the maintenance of the website
- Create quality mock-ups and prototypes from UI/UX designs, ensuring high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Provide guidance to the marketing team on website and app optimization opportunities and support implementation with digital agencies
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage IT requirements for websites and digital marketing services
- Collaborate with website developers and designers to improve usability
- Actively review website/app performance - make recommendations to the marketing team
- Test and optimize websites, code and assets for maximum speed and scalability across multiple devices and browsers
- Ensure security and stability of various modules;
Qualifications:
- DEC or Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent;
- Technical skills required:
- Javascript, PHP, MySQL;
- Knowledge of Prestashop
- French and English.
