So, your central vacuum cleaner can be very far in the basement, but your hose will always have the good sustain of suction, even on the first floor. So, it is recommended, for the purchase of a central vacuum cleaner, to seize this distinction well.

Now, the HEPA filter. Here is the acronym the most spread in the industry of the vacuum cleaner; we see it everywhere, especially where it should not appear! HEPA aims to be the acronym in English of High Efficiency Particle Attraction.The name HEPA applies to any device able of filtering, in a passage, at least 99,97 % of the particles of diameter upper or equal to 0,3 µm2.

What it is necessary to seize with this brand, if I can say so, it is the certificate associated with this name, which is the proof of its authenticity. Indeed, a certified technician will make a test and will deliver a certificate which gives evidence that the vacuum cleaner system wearing the mention HEPA meets well and truly the standards of this naming quoted above. Then when will come the time to get you a certified device HEPA, the seller should necessarily supply you the certificate of. And that cost money ! If you can buy an HEPA vacuum for 99$, ask yourself a few questions ! Otherwise, it is only letters affixed here and there to help sales. It is like having a “muscle car’ logo on a 4 cylinder vehicle!
